Love resides in our hearts even when we are not together.
Distance can separate two people without touching what holds them together. Being apart need not weaken the bond between people who love each other.
Poor dancing does not destroy love.
A partner's clumsy dancing, or any small embarrassing flaw, doesn't threaten how much you love them. Minor imperfections are not character, and love shouldn't be measured by them.
On the way to one's beloved, there are no hills.
For someone going to the person they love, no hill is an obstacle. The source describes a suitor who visits his beloved's home again and again and is expected to overcome every difficulty in his way.
Don't try to make someone hate the person he loves, for he will go on loving but he will hate you.
Try to turn someone against a person they love and it rarely touches the love. Their resentment lands on you instead. Loyalty doesn't bend easily under pressure.
